How we keep your account and data protected on mobile

We sign every app build so your phone can verify it came from h5myr before installation. No third-party stores host our APK; you download it directly from h5myr.

Code signing

Every APK carries a digital signature that Android checks during install. The signature confirms the file hasn't been altered since we published it, blocking tampered or fake versions.

Direct distribution

We distribute the Android app only through h5myr.com and the iOS app only through the App Store. Third-party mirror sites or file-sharing platforms do not host verified builds.

Account recovery

If you lose access, the app sends a recovery link to your registered email. Follow the link, reset your password, then sign back in without contacting support unless the email fails to arrive.

On-device credentials

When you enable fingerprint or face login, the app stores an encrypted token on your phone. The biometric check happens locally, so your fingerprint data never leaves the device.

Session timeout

If you leave the app idle for 15 minutes, it logs you out automatically. This prevents someone else from accessing your account if you leave your phone unlocked on a table.

Balance encryption

Your balance and transaction list travel over an encrypted connection. The app decrypts them only after verifying your session, so intercepted data appears as unreadable code.

Your account stays on our server. Uninstalling removes the app from your phone but doesn't delete your balance, transaction history, or favourites. Reinstall the app, sign in, and everything reappears exactly as you left it.
